Kingfisher Red Airlines,which was previously known as Air Deccan or Simplifly Deccan is a low-cost domestic airlines in india and now is a subsidiary of Kingfisher Airlines. Talking about kingfisher red airlines which is the only one in india which provides complimentary in-flight meals and bottled water to its passengers.Kingfisher Red is the first low cost domestic carrier in India as compate to other airlines in india provides the cheapest airfare to its passengers. On 19 December 2007, it was announced that Air Deccan would merge with Kingfisher Airlines.The merger was made official on April 2008. At that time, liquor industry giant Vijay Mallya, who was also the CMD of Kingfisher Airlines, became the CEO of the newly formed airline company.Kingfisher Red airlines has the central base situated at the HAL international airport, Bangalore and has a hub at International Airport , Chennai.
